Yay! I love a good surprise and today, 2/15/24, I had not one, but two 😲😲.
When I arrived at the Maka’eo Garden where I volunteer, I went to check on the status of the painted rock collection, hoping to find a new one someone may have contributed. I didn’t see any new rocks, but hanging from the tree was a beautiful quilted heart with a “I need a home!” tag on it 💙😲. I was so super thrilled to find this new treasure!!!
And the story gets better!!!! I took some pictures and went over to the bench where my stuff was to put my heart away, and I was surprised yet again to find another heart on the bench!!! This one had turtles on it making it even more special 🐢💚🐢💚🐢. So, whoever had placed the first heart must have seen me being so excited and surprised me with the second one!!! 🤩❤️🤩.
WOW! I love being on the receiving end of these random acts of kindness. Totally made my day and filled me with joy. Mahalo (thank you) 🫶🏼🤙🏼.
