I found it in front of the train station in Jim Thorpe, PA. My husband and I went there to spend the weekend of the 4th of July, celebrating my birthday on July 3rd. We were waiting for the “Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway train.” We got there a bit early and decided to sit to rest when I saw the quilted heart. I thought someone had lost it until I saw the tag “I NEED A HOME!” I went online and checked the website, and I was thrilled to know that I was “selected” to find a home for this little heart. I don’t believe in coincidences, so I think I was supposed to find it and join this project. I love sewing, and I have so many scrap fabrics that I keep thinking about what to do with them; now I have the answer. I few blessed for finding this heart.
