found this beautiful heart off of CA 1 in Jenner at the Vista Trail. It reminds me of felt heart ornaments that my Mom would make as Christmas ornaments. One of the things that made the hearts my mom made special was that each one has a button from my great grandmothers collection sewed on it. I was literally just talking about my Nanny with my husband moments before finding the quilted heart. I can’t help but believe that she is with me and that me finding the heart was a message from her. Thank you to the kindness of a stranger for creating and leaving this beautiful heart for me to find. It will have a special spot in our apartment in San Francisco and I promise to find some way to pay the kindness forward
