I found this heart outside the mammogram center. I left it there, thinking maybe somebody else needed it, but when I came back out and it was still there, I decided that maybe it was meant for me. I made hearts very similar to these out of my father-in-law’s shirts after he died and I felt like they were so special. This one felt like a sweet hug — before and after my mammogram was done.
