I was taking a hike at Harrison Fort park to clear my head and keep myself from going crazy from all the job hunting I’ve been doing, and this something brightly colored hanging from a branch caught my eye. I didn’t have my glasses on so I was a little irritated because I thought it might be trash someone just hung there to be funny, but as I got closer I saw what it was a heart, and I read the the tag on it saying “I need a home”. My mood changed pretty immediately, and it kinda warmed my heart. It was pretty soaked from all the rain but I brought it home and sat it on a fan to dry. Gonna hang it from my rear view mirror.
