My partner and I took a stroll with our 8 month old son down by Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, Nevada when I spotted something sitting on a bench. After a closer look I found the cutest little quilted heart! As soon as I picked it up, a butterfly danced around me and landed on it! What a sweet and special moment.
Earlier on our walk I was feeling a bit lost in this era of my life. As a new mom, it’s been challenging figuring out my place in the world as I balance my family life with my career and aspirations. Today I asked God for a sign to help me find my way forward. I believe this was my sign!
The message I got from finding this heart is you don’t necessarily need to know exactly where you’re going or why, but if you just keep moving forward and keep your heart open, many blessings await. Thank you to the creators of this special project for giving me something to smile about and a little extra hope in my heart.
