Last May, my then 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with Kidney cancer. We went through surgeries and 6 months of chemo and now she is cancer free! On the day of her first post chemo scans, we found a ladybug crawling on the window of the clinic before going in to get her results. I’m normally not superstitious but seeing that ladybug helped me feel like it was going to be ok. Ever since, I’ve found huge comfort in ladybugs and search for signs of them whenever her next scans are looming near. This morning, I was talking to her about scheduling her next appointment and talking up how great she did last time but of course any mention of them puts a bit of terror inside me. Then a little later we went out for a bike ride in our neighborhood (Hamilton, NJ) and I saw something hanging from a tree, I saw it was an adorable little heart and went in for a closer look. When I saw the ladybug peeking out of the leaves I instantly starting crying with relief and happiness that my ladybug sign found me on a day of worry. I am so grateful for whoever made this and just wanted to let you know it found exactly who needed it most. Thank you ❤️🐞
