I found this beautiful quilted heard around March 22, 2023 at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO. I was attending the Dachshund Club of America Nationals.
Taking a walk out with my dogs, I saw this bright colored heart on a leafless bush. It stood out so vividly. I can’t believe someone else hadn’t seen it or maybe it had just been placed there moments before?
It made me smile. It was a perfect symbol of the love I have for my dogs and that hopefully, all at the dog shows have for their dogs, too. Dachshunds are my heart and I will keep this heart with the ribbons, awards and other memorabilia I have from dog shows.
