Over the last few years we participated in painting and hiding rocks throughout our home town and whenever we travel. Today we found our first quilted heart, having never heard of the project, when we saw a colorful heart flapping in a tree by a post office in our new town. We pulled it down and it delighted my kids – two out of three are novice seamstresses. We’ll be picking this up as a way to use our fabric scraps and to spread cheer, just as we had with painted rocks.

Thank you!
