I am a school bus driver that is out with her husband this week on the big truck “semi”. I like to come with him when able, running loads, as school is off due to spring break. As well as the quality time.
I asked him to stop at the next available place to stretch, walk, and use restroom. We had also just gotten a golden retriever puppy a few weeks ago that is along with us!
He is not trained on a leash yet as he is just a few months old. I had went off walking/looking for an area there wasn’t another pet to put him down, as he is very playful. I did not want to interrupt another.
If it was not for a lady and her dog sitting at a picnic table in the distance. I would have not found the quilted heart. When I was headed to walk out farther away I noticed them sitting and I turnt to continue on walking around the rest area.
As I turnt I happened to look over and seen something white hanging off a branch in the middle of a tree/bush that was bare from the winter. I thought to myself that is an odd place! Then I remembered that people place and or hide certain things to be found around places they have been to bless others. I stopped and explored it and seen the little tag saying I NEED A HOME. I plucked it off the branch and put it in my pocket and continued on. When I got to the truck I told my husband I found this heart. He stated, wow that’s hand made! He then asked, why did you take it? I said, because look it says I NEED A HOME. I admired it more and seen there was a website on the tag as well.
I reminded him of a painted rock I had found years back.
