This beautiful heart was placed at Maple Lawn Senior Care Center in Fulda, Minnesota. This heart was first found by our Activity Aid Barb while watering our flowers. She brought this heart into me, and we looked up what finding this heart was all about. We both fell in love with the story of finding this heart and thought we would like our residents to be a part of this wonderful Act of Kindness. Barb came up with the idea of hanging it outside on our patio where we were going to have Ice Cream Patio Party later that afternoon. Around 25 of our Residents enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of Ice cream and then were asked if anyone had noticed something different out on the Patio. Their interest was piqued. Patricia ‘Pat’ who is a resident was the lucky finder. Finding this heart brought tears to her eyes and she told us that “I will give this heart the best home.” She proudly wore the heart on her shirt that day to show it off and it has now made a home in her room. As the resident continued to eat their Ice Cream, we told the residents about ‘IFAQH’ and they were so excited to be apart of something so wonderful! To whomever placed this heart outside our facility THANK YOU for giving us a special memory we won’t ever forget and the smiles you put on our residents’ faces!!
