Upon arriving to work with a foggy mind, I noticed this heart hanging from a branch in front of the place I always park. The green side was facing me which caught my eye, as green is my favorite color. It brought me a sense of peace simply because in a world where people can be so selfish and ugly, there are people with kind souls still out there. It reminded me that in my current situation of battles with all evils I had to remember the peace in my heart and that the day was new with fresh beginnings. It was a reminder to not let hate in and know that grace is granted if you open your heart.
