My family and I were spending a beautiful Fall day hiking various trails in the area when we stopped for a picnic at Timberland Park off the Natchez Trace in Franklin, TN. In the middle of eating, my 7-year-old daughter spotted something strange in a nearby tree. We didn’t believe her but she insisted, got up and came back with a huge grin and a giggle, holding this sweet heart. This will teach us not to doubt next time – there may be something strange in a tree after all, and it might just be a fun surprise and a sweet little experience like this!
