I was with my husband, 2 of our daughters, and our happy little dog celebrating Easter weekend together in TN. We were enjoying walking around downtown Franklin, yet we were missing one of our daughters who was away on an international trip in a remote location. Because we had our dog with us, we were standing in front of a restaurant deciding if we would choose to eat there outside on their patio even though it was chilly and a bit rainy, when as I put my hand on the little fence around the patio I looked down and saw the quilted heart hanging from the fence post. I let out a shriek of excitement when I quickly realized what it was, as I have followed the IFAQH community for some time, and I have participated in making and placing hearts for others to find. I never really dreamed I would find one of my own one day, so I was particularly delighted to find it! I know it was meant just for me in that moment as my heart was missing my daughter who could not be with us that day! Thank you to the lovely soul who placed it there for me to find! It was fun for me to tell my family about IFAQH and have them share in my excitement about simple beauty, kindness, and good in the world! The LORD knows our hearts and works through His people to give us love and encouragement!
