I first mistook the quilted heart for a fallen leaf that had been shaped like a heart, and that is what drew me to it in the first place. My son and I collect heart shaped things in nature. What a blessing to discover the delicately fastened treasure- at such a time like this! I had spent that afternoon walking alone along the river reflecting on my life with my mom and how much things had changed since her death. I had wished she could be there with me. I had just said a pray as I approached the bench. My mourning heart was comforted from the heart a stranger left for me! It was as if my mom, herself, had left it for me to find!
Thank you and God Bless!!!
