Sat, Nov 11, 2023. I took my 5 yo grandchild to the library to see if there were any painted rocks. I did this years ago but she had never actually found any. We didn’t have any luck, this was a disappointment bc the library was a safe place for children to find them. I told her maybe next time and we started back to the car. I really don’t know why, but I looked up to a tree. It was dark outside and behind the leaves I could see something. I thought it may be something for birds, like peanut butter rolled in birdseed. But after moving the leaves I could see that wasn’t the case. I took it down and I couldn’t believe it. A heart. I was familiar with one bc back in 2017 my mom passed away and my daughter and I found one a few days later in a different city. I felt like my mom was telling us, it was alright. But to find another one 6 years later was amazing. And again I felt like my mom had something to do with it so her great grandchild would not go home empty handed and it was her way to send her love to a great grandchild she never got to see. I can not tell you the joy I felt. My grandchild wanted to keep it and amazingly it was rainbow colors, her favorite. She put it on her wall and her mom said, lets put it on the Christmas tree this year. I want to say a special thank you to this person who made the heart. And who made us smile. It meant a lot to all of us. ❤
