The day we found our heart along the river we had just received a call telling us our aunt was cancer free. We felt the heart was another way God was saying he’s always with us. Little did we know that same heart would carry us through our grief only 2 months later when she died suddenly due to complications of her treatments. The following year we returned to the same spot and paid it forward by making new hearts to be shared with others in need.
