I am shook! I found this beautiful heart back in April (2022) in the Wal*Mart parking lot. I was on my way down to Georgia (from Ohio) to visit my brother and his wife for the Easter holiday. As you can see in the photo, the tag had rubbed off and become unreadable, and so I had no idea what this was all about. However, we had just lost our dad in February, and I was feeling especially blue. This would be the first major holiday (Easter) without him. This little quilted heart lifted my spirits, and brought me so much peace. Finding it made me feel like all the people that I had lost throughout my life (there have been many) were watching over me. After the trip, I brought the heart back with me, and it has been hanging in my den where I have admired it every day since. Fast forward to today. It is snowy and dreary here, and, as I am sure we all often do (wink), I found myself mindlessly scrolling through Facebook when your page popped up! Wow. I had never heard of the IFAQH project before! To whoever made this, I want you to know that it is magnificent; that it is deeply treasured; and that I appreciate you so much for spreading joy in this way. THANK YOU!
