I’ve been following this project for years now.. I just think it is such a simple and powerful thing. I had never seen/found a heart until today.
I’ve had a beautiful but also very emotionally-charged Summer this year. I am currently going through a phase of deep refection and very difficult life questions/decisions. And I miss loved ones.
I am driving home after being abroad for two weeks. Being tired, scared and confused, I stopped at the John Appleseed Visitor Center/rest area for a break. As I parked and looked up, I saw a fluttering movement on the tree in front of me and I immediately hoped it would be a Quilted Heart…. And, indeed, it finally found me…
Thank you to the kind artist who created and shared this piece – It brought me some comfort and hope; I will truly cherish it….
