I was so surprised to find a beachy quilted heart when i returning to our winter home on Amelia Island. Initially I thought that someone had lost this cute heart. I was so surprised to learn that the concept of the quilted hearts is much like painted rocks. My friend’s daughter and family were coming to Amelia to visit. I knew the little seven year old would absolutely love this heart. Not only did she love it she immediately told me that she knew right where she was going to put in it – right on her year round Christmas Tree. I can’t wait to return north to see this heart proudly hanging on the all season Christmas tree in her predominately pink bedroom. Thank you to the quilter of this hear for creating and then hiding this beachy heart for me to find! It will be loved for years and years!
