On a day when I was feeling overwhelmed by heartbreaking international, national and local news, I came across this Quilted Heart hanging on a bush at our library. I looked at it on my way in and told myself that if it was still there when I left, I would take it. Obviously it was still there, so I took it home. On a day when I was feeling the weight of the world, it was a wonderful reminder that there is love and good and hope in the world. Thank you to the beautiful soul who took the time to make this heart.
