It’s been over a month since my aunt passed away on my birthday. The world feels darker without her in it. She was incredibly gifted and had the ability to make everyone she touched feel like the most important person in the world. She was a talented artist, an avid book reader, an animal enthusiast, and nature lover. I have been struggling with the loss – she was one of the most pivotal women in my life and an incredible role model. I was walking with my husband and my dog and spied this heart hanging on a tiny branch. Sometimes messages from heaven are delivered by strangers in the woods. Thank you so much to the quilter/creator – it was what I needed in that moment and I am grateful to have received this special heart.
