On Friday, May 22, 2015, the coolest thing happened while backpacking Feather Falls near Oroville, California- I was resting near the river at the top of the waterfall when I saw something hanging on a branch of a tree directly in front of me! I took a closer look and saw that it was a beautifully handcrafted quilted heart with a sign that says “I need a home” and “please report found at ifoundaquiltedheart.com”! I can’t express how neat it is to learn that there’s an organization out there creating these little mementos for adventurous people to find in the most random places around the world and that I feel as though it was meant for me! Thank you to whomever took the time to make this cute little heart, it has found a good home and I will definitely be taking it on every backpacking trip I go on from now on!!
