I found a quilted heart in Estes Park, CO while my husband and I were on a walk around Estes Park Lake. It was hanging on a tree limb and caught my eye and as I walked by I thought “that’s an ornament hanging from a tree. Wait it has a tag on it” I turned around, picked it up and read the tag directing me to this page.
It was such a nice surprise to find this heart and not to mention the perfect memento for us to take home from our vacation.
I especially enjoyed telling our two daughters the story how I found the quilted heart. It’s nice for them to see/hear simple gestures people are doing in the world to brighten a strangers day.
