Hi! Boy did I need this today! I found a quilted heart hanging on a bush outside the DaVita Dialysis Center in Ellsworth ME. My husband has kidney disease. It was stable for years, controlled by diet and then in April it accelerated and he was told he should start dialysis immediately. It’s been so rough on him, draining him of energy and spirit. At one point he couldn’t get out of a chair. This is the 2nd full week of dialysis and it seems to be helping. Thanks for the heart. Maybe someday I’ll do the same for others
