I was so blessed today when I found my quilted heart. I was taking a walk over my lunch on a trail by the river. During this time I was praying and seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance in my life. The river was flowing beautifully, trees were beginning to bloom, and God was reminding me through His creation of His goodness. Reminding me to trust Him. Matthew 6:30 came to my heart and I looked up to find the quilted heart on a fence that was along the path. I went over and took it down seeing the tag that was on it. I had never heard of a quilted heart before. It deeply touched my heart. Especially that with this heart there is a button that is a sparrow. Birds and sparrows remind me that if God knows when one falls and that they trust Him completely for provision, then I too can trust. Trust and obey. God has a purpose and perfect plan for my life.
I do not know who made this beautiful heart or who placed it on the fence, but I thank you. You were the vessel God used to speak to my heart and give me peace during a time of lamenting. What a BEAUTIFUL project!!! Thank you.
