Five weeks ago, I had a C-section to deliver my second son. Everything went as planned and my son was born healthy and beautiful! A few hours later, I developed complications and my doctor discovered that I had a huge hematoma and a torn muscle in my abdomen. I was given three blood transfusions and had emergency surgery, where they also discovered a blood vessel had been cut and I was bleeding out internally.
One the fifth week anniversary of my emergency surgery that saved my life, I found my Quilted Heart. My heart means so much to me and symbolizes that things are going to continue to get better for as I love on my perfect little boy!!! 💙
