While on my lunch break at a Cancer Research Hospital, I opted to take my lunch outdoors and get some fresh air under the warm sun. Lately, we’ve had many cold and rainy days, so I took advantage. I sat down on a bench and noticed a plastic, see through bag laying next to me. On a little white tag, the words, “I NEED A HOME”, caught my attention. Since it was St. Patrick’s Day, I saw multiple themed designs in the shape of a heart. I scanned the area around me to be sure this was not a joke. I then went to the website noted on the card and immediately was filled with so much joy! How amazing was this act of kindness!!! It brought such a feeling of calmness to my heart in such an emotional environment. Thank God for kind people, kindness matters! Continue to spread kindness. 💚
