I was lucky enough to find my quilted heart in the surgical ICU waiting room at Presbyterian St. Luke hospital in Denver,CO USA. I was awaiting word on my moms follow-up pancreatic cancer surgery that caused a hernia. I knew immediately it was meant for me as I am a hobby beekeeper. It brought smiles and a feeling of comfort to my heart. My mom is still recovering at PSL, but lucky enough, expected to fully recover without any further complications!
