I found this quilted heart while on a quick walk during a break at work. For me this year feels so positive and I have a feeling great things are going to happen this year. I’ve gone through such a season of winter metaphorically with my health, my family, my job, my firend circle, and my walk spiritually.
It reminds me that sometimes we have to endure those long winters to allow roots to grow. I find it fitting that this darling quilted heart has a sunflower pattern. This pattern is a great reminder that the seasons can’t stay and the winter you may be going through can’t stay either. Those winters can be months or decades but there is beauty in enduring and allowing your experiences good and bad to grow us just like these lovely flowers. With the right conditions, water, and plenty of sunlight sunflowers thrive to feed a wide variety of nature. From bees obtaining nectar, to birds, and mice; Who then go on to feed other animals. What a lovely reminder for us that with the right conditions we can nurture and feed others emotionally and spiritually. To whomever left this at the Robert Mills house thank you and you reminded me that I am loved. As the sunflower follows the sun under the sun, may we follow the son above the sun.
