I was walking back to my car after doing a bit of shopping when I noticed two hearts dangling from a bush in the green median strip of the parking lot. I have no idea how I saw them because they blended in with the bush almost perfectly. I think they must have called out to me! Anyway, I’ve been going through a really hard time recently, navigating a series of unfortunate events, but the hardest of all is that my beloved has been called away to California and is leaving on Saturday. I took both hearts–one for me and one to give to him. It helps me in my sadness to know that each of us has this beautiful reminder of our connection and love.
