I was having a really rough week with health issues that caused a lot of pain and made it hard to walk. My daughter and I got out of the car at the post office she said, “Oh look, how cute! A heart in the tree!” I looked up and saw a fabric quilt hanging from a limb with a little note fluttering in the wind. I went closer to investigate and saw that it said, “I need a home.” It was such a simple gesture but made a world of difference to me in that moment. Whoever left it there was inspired because it was hung in a tree by the parking space I always park in, the fabric they chose had lemons on it which reminded me of my sister who loves lemons because it reminds her of her lemon tree when she lived in sunny AZ but now lives far away in the snow. This sister has been my support through my trials and had recently told me she’s praying for me and sending me angels and to hang in there. Well, I believe one of those earthly angles answered her call and placed this lemon fabric heart where they did to remind me that we are not alone in our struggles in this world. So thank you, earthly little angles that are making fabric hearts and spreading love and hope. Keep making your kind hearts! 🙂
