I was walking to work at UChicago Medicine on the University of Chicago campus and saw this heart hanging off the side of a bench. It’s the colors of the Ukranian flag and I felt it incredibly pertinent esp. in light of the Oval Office press conf. of Fri. (2/28). I stand with Ukraine and was horrified by the ambush of Pres. Zelensky. I have the heart hanging from the pot of a plant on my desk and it is the first thing you see when you enter my office which has extremely heavy foot traffic. I’m really happy to have found it and proud to display it – it gives me hope when I look at it.
