On Sunday (November 3, 2024), I was leaving work (82 Queen) in downtown Charleston. I left through an exit that is not my normal path. I stopped in the doorway to glance at my phone when the beautiful quilted heart caught my attention. As I looked at the heart, I was amazed to find that the material used was a tribute to Marines. I want to share this story in hopes that the creator sees it and understands how special this heart has been to my sisters and me. Our father passed away October 24th and his funeral was the 29th. He served from 1968 to 1970 in the Vietnam War as a Marine. That Sunday was a particularly hard day for me. Thank you for brightening our day!
