I found this little heart on my way out of bible study. I attend a bible study on Monday evenings at the Woodland Country Club – The Country Club is closed on Monday, so they let us use their space for free. I walked past it but caught a glimpse from the corner of my eye and knew what it was, so I backed up and placed it near my heart as I left the building. Once in the car, I immediately hung it from the visor. In February 2024, I received some startling news about the job I’ve had for 8 years. I was being demoted and the company was taking away a significant portion of my income. I had done nothing wrong; it was merely a reorganization. I am a single woman in my 60’s and have worked since I was 15. I’ve never been in trouble, never received a negative performance review, never abused my PTO, and was always willing to help out wherever and whenever I could. I have been under attack by the enemy and was enormously afraid of losing everything I had worked for; most days it has been difficult to keep going. So, this little heart gives me hope. I appreciate these little yet big gestures that others so lovingly share. Thank you to whoever left this lovely heart for me to find. I receive your blessing and know He will guide my path and He will not let any harm come to those who abide in Him.
