When we lost our beautiful sister, Laurie four years ago, my sister Debra climbed to the top of a small mountain in Carlsbad, Ca. And started a beautiful garden in the shape of a heart and full of succulent plants and trinkets and memories. Because of the drought, she hikes up there everyday to with a backpack full of water bottles for the plants. Many people know the place and some remember Laurie and Debbie hiking there. People always want to leave something out of kindness. So my sister Debbie still made the long climb on her birthday and this lovely heart was waiting for her. It was like a birthday gift from Laurie. I cried when I read it. God bless the person who left the heart to a sister who had lost part of her own.
