On 3/21/25 I was having a difficult day emotionally. I have been grieving the recent passing of my soul dog. That evening, I was meeting my husband for dinner, and as I was walking up to the restaurant I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Hanging on a Yucca plant was a quilted heart. Initially I thought that someone lost something and another person hung it so it was visible to the searching eye. But then I read the tag and after walking away, I Googled it and discovered what it was. My husband and I ordered our dinner and something was pulling me back to go grab the quilted heart. So I did, and it felt like a warm hug, maybe a sign from my dog who knew I was having a hard day. This heart has flowers on it and a project I took on after her passing was planting a mix of purple flowers in a planter box and pots. Finding this quilted heart means so much to me (and my husband).
