I found this lovely quilted heart on the wooded path behind Crescent Beach where my husband and I and our dog love to walk. I was alone when I found it as my husband’s cancer makes it hard for him to walk on uneven ground. Even our Jack Russell was not with me as he has a torn ACL. I was feeling the burdens of caregiving when I came upon this heart—and it made me smile.
