I found this beautiful heart at Laidhay Croft Museum in Dunbeath, Caithness, Scotland on the 2nd September. Hanging from some horse harness in the old stables, at first I thought it was a label telling the story of the harness but no!!
I am so very, very happy to have found this, September is always a very difficult month for me when memories come as the nights draw in but oh, the absolute joy of finding a quilted heart! And it’s pink, my most favourite colour and to have found it where I did – Laidhay holds a very special place in my heart – means so much to me. I’m sure my little dog who was with me must have thought I’d found a hoard of juicy bones for her instead, I was so happy!!! So sorry, Poppy!
