I was driving home my last lab before finals at OSU, and stopped at the rest area for Daisy Mae. I was admiring the beautiful blooming redbuds in their pots, observing the phenomenon when the flowers grow straight out of the bark on occasion. Then saw what I thought was a quilted leaf on a tree! I walked over and saw the cute little heart needed a home💕 It was a much needed perk up since last few weeks my father had major surgery, our elderly pup passed from cancer, and the dryer caught on fire too of course lol! So the little heart showed up at just the right time.
