I found the quilted heart on Monday May 22, 2023 hanging on the branch of a potted plant on the porch of the store where I work. I was really having a very bad day. I went out on the porch like I do many times a day to vape and as I walked to one end I saw it hanging there. I have never found anything on the porch other than trash. I didn’t understand what it was at first but when I read I NEED A HOME and seeing how clean it was( not trash ) I put it in my back pocket. The next evening I looked up the website and I cried reading all the stories people wrote about finding their hearts. I felt as though it was a reminder from God that He still loves me and is still watching over me. I’m keeping the heart in my purse and even slept with it in my hand one night to calm my anxiety. A physical reminder that everything will be ok. Thank you to the kind soul who left this on the porch. I feel so fortunate to be the one that found the ❤️.
