This morning my son and I decided to go to target to find some hotwheels to add to his ever growing collection (he’s about to be 4). As we were on our way we stopped at McDonalds for a “chicken nuggy happy meal” and noticed a woman standing on the corner with a sign that mentioned she was hungry.. as we pulled in I had a thought to ride back around and asked her if she wanted a meal from McDonalds and she replied with many thanks. We got our meal, dropped hers off and made our way to our favorite store. As we were walking out I noticed a little swinging baggie hanging from a tree, so I stopped with my son to take a look! We found a special little gift to brighten our day. It feels extra special to receive this heart because I was just discussing with my son the importance of making someone’s day when they might be down on their luck, and how rewarding it feels to give back to the community in any way you can when you’re able. Thank you so much for taking the time to put a smile on our faces when there’s so many other things going on in the world nowadays. 💕
