I arrived one Saturday morning in October at one of Boulder’s wildlife areas, where a dear friend and I had made plans to meet and walk the trails. She called to say she was running late due to a hectic morning, so I decided that while I waited for her I would take a short excursion on a side trail. I went a short distance and found this sweet quilted work of art. After I realized it was a gift that was mine to keep, I knew that it was ultimately meant for my friend, who adores cats and adores these colors. As I had thought, she loved receiving the heart. It will always remind both of us of our special friendship and morning together. Thank you!
