I took my son to the park so that he could use the swings there. He is challenged with autism, ADHD, depression, and social anxiety disorders.
Upon our walk, we came across a gazebo where my son Andrew spotted the quilted heart. He read its message and asked if he could take it. He smiled and placed it into his pocket. It is now hanging in his room. The beautiful thing is, we were discussing our move away from his dad and it brought up many emotions. To find the heart there was truly comforting and meant so much to us. Thank you for all of the love you and your volunteers share.
