A friend and I had just wrapped up attending a scrapbook retreat on Sunday, Sept. 24th and we decided to stop by JoAnn’s to get some things for our next retreat. I saw a weird leaf growing on a tree and decided to check it out. It was much too large to be a Crepe Myrtle leaf (was in a Crepe Myrtle tree). I was so surprised to see what it was! The heart put a big bright spot in my day and I couldn’t wait to tell my quilting friends! Some of them want to participate! Thank you to who ever left it there, I still smile when I think about it. The picture I’m going to send is the front. The back of the heart is solid lime green color.
