I was walking with my dog – Oliver – on the Barrie North Shore Trail today enjoying the beautiful weather, when I came across an adorable quilted heart on a bench. It’s interesting as I have walked this trail many times, but rarely have I stopped to sit at this particular bench.
As I approached, I could see there was something heart shaped attached to the top right hand corner of the wooden bench via a sparkly blue elastic. It wasn’t until I sat down that I took a closer look and discovered what I now know to be an IFAQH.
There are a few things going on for me regarding this adorable quilted heart – Firstly, I’m just getting over a terrible flu which has had me bed ridden for 3 days. Today was the first day I felt well enough to go for a walk. I wanted to get some natural vitamin D and thought the sun would also help lift my spirits. Secondly, Scooby-Doo was my favourite cartoon when I was a little girl, so I thought how fitting that I found this particular quilted heart. I was really touched by this anonymous act of kindness!
