What a delightful surprise to find this little heart. I was having a particularly stressful day with not enough hours to accomplish everything I needed to do. I decided to head to a local eatery to get a healthy salad and study for exams. While walking up I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was in a bush. And out of place. I was busy, super busy, but that phrase “stop and smell the roses” came to my mind. I decided to take a moment and investigate the object gently waving in the breeze. Much to my surprise, this little blessing was sitting there waiting just for me! This little heart said it needed a home and I needed a dinner companion. So it was meant to be. This little heart filled my heart with joy and will be an ever present reminder to take time to appreciate the beauty around us. Thank you heart maker.
