I am a busy stay-at-home mom of four young kids (under 10 years old). I struggle to make special connections with my older two kids because the younger two require a lot of extra attention.
My seven year old son and I attended a mother/son dance at his school last week. We had a lot of fun there. He wanted to leave early so we could get frozen yogurt before heading home to the rest of the family. We found a quilted heart in the frozen yogurt parking lot, just next to our car! It was so special to find the heart because every time we look at it now, it reminds us of the fun evening we had together.
