Got myself ready for a jog from Bayfront to Princess point and back but before we could get started I had to make sure the dog Felix was ready so i took him for a usual short stroll first. We headed towards the paved trail. I was drawn to a specific place i had never really crossed before even tho we been going there for years. Down by the docks. We had to jump boulders to get there. As I peaked over the edge before jumping i spotted a beautifully colored item. My first thought was that someone had forgotten it behind. When my eyes tried to focus i thought it was a babies bib or a mask, It was being kept safe n clean in a small baggie. As i picked it up n turned it over, I quickly looked around me to see if anyone had dropped it when i saw the tag n read I NEED A HOME. Brought tears to my eyes. Couldnt have come at a better time, the last few days have been overcast n bleak. I needed that bright cheerful heart more than anyone could know. Made me feel warm n fuzzy.
