Hello Friends
I’ve only been living in the San Francisco Bay area – Alameda to be exact – for 3 months. I’ve been working and sorting out my living details so heavily that I really hadn’t had time to explore this beautiful place. I decided to ride my bike around Alameda island and see what I’ve been missing.
I was riding along the west end of the island where the view of San Francisco across the Bay is brilliant. Right at 2PM on Sunday, 11 January 2015 I saw something nestled very nicely atop a bollard in front of the USS Hornet Naval Museum. I really had no idea what it was but when I picked it up, my day was made. This lovely little heart had been made left to brighten some strangers life, and it’s done just that. What a thoughtful, meaningful gift to leave someone.
